Don Baldini
He can be heard on the soundtracks of The Little Mermaid, St. Elsewhere, The Love Boat, Charlie 's Angels, Jaws II, Disneyworld, Epcot Center and on the Cincinnati Pops with Frank Sinatra include Live at the Meadowlands, The Carnegie Hall 1984 Collection, and the DVD Frank Sinatra Live from Tokyo recorded at The Budokan in Tokyo, Japan. Locally, Mr. Baldini has played with the Vermont Symphony, Opera North, and several local chamber music and jazz groups. He holds a degree in music from Indiana University.
Bassist and teacher Don Baldini has lived in Vermont for the past thirty years. He was an Artist in Residence at Keene State College for more than 25 years, where he directed the KSC Jazz Ensemble, conducted the orchestra, taught music theory, jazz history, and private lessons. Additionally, he was the bass instructor at Dartmouth College until 2017.
Prior to relocating to Vermont, Mr. Baldini had a professional career as a studio musician in Los Angeles, and toured and performed with The Tonight Show, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Mathis, Peggy Lee, Tony Bennett, Helen Reddy, Paul Anka, Nancy Wilson, Teddy Wilson, Andy Williams, Henry Mancini and The Toshiko Akiyoshi/Lew Tabackin Band.
